- back to topCourse Withdrawal
-
Students wishing to withdraw from a course during a semester should contact Jennifer Larson immediately. Prior to withdrawing, students should refer to the Drop - add deadlines, financial penalties and grade assignments available on the UF Critical Dates page. Students cannot withdraw themselves by deleting a course from their online account.
- back to topCurrent UF student
-
If you are currently a UF student enrolled in another program and/or college, please contact Jennifer Larson at 352-278-8588 or jlarson@cop.ufl.edu to discuss enrollment options.
- back to topEnrollment Certification
To show (prove) enrollment in a course, submit a copy of the Registrar's Enrollment Certification form to the Registrar after the drop period (see the Important Dates page for the drop date). An example for why someone would need this form is to prove to a loan company or employer that they are enrolled.
- back to topFinancial Aid
Financial aid may be available in the form of a loan for qualified US citizens and permanent residents in both the MS and Certificate programs. Further information can be obtained from Mike Menefee, Assistant Director of Student Financial Affairs.
It is the responsibility of each student to ensure that financial aid is approved prior to the start of each semester, and to inform the program accountant Jennifer Larson (jlarson@cop.ufl.edu or (352) 278-8588) that tuition will be paid via financial aid.
- back to topGrade Requirements
The only passing grades for Graduate Students are A, B+, B, C+, C. Please note C+ and C grades count toward degree only if an equal number of courses numbered 5000 or higher have been earned with B+ and A, respectively. If a grade under a C is earned, the student will need to re-take the course when it is offered again.
Please also note, as stated above, courses taken before being in the MS status must be earned as a B grade or higher to transfer toward the MS degree.
- back to topGrades-Transcripts
-
Students have to initiate requests for their own transcripts, you can get a copy online via the MyUFL at UF. You will need your gatorlink ID and password. Once in the system, clicking on 'records' and 'unofficial transcripts'.
For official transcripts, follow the Transcript Request Procedures (PDF) to request transcripts from the Registrar. Transcripts are not automatically sent to the student after each term and must be requested.
- back to topGRE Requirements
- All applicants must have ETS (Educational Testing Service) send their official tests scores (GMAT, GRE, TOEFL, etc.) directly to the UF Office of Admissions as part of the application process.
- Only official, sealed scores, direct from ETS (Education Testing Service), are acceptable. Self-reported scores, unsealed copies of score reports or photocopies of score reports cannot be accepted as official final documents.
- GRE scores are only good for five years; TOEFL scores are only good for two. If the applicant has not taken these tests within these time limits, he or she must retake them, unless he or she has earned a master's or doctoral degree from an accredited institution in the United States.

The University of Florida requires that you are registered for the following number of credits during the term you are graduating:
- Summer term: 2 credit hours

- back to topSupplemental application
If you need to change either a Certificate or Master's application, please fill out the Supplemental application. (Examples for people who need this application are people who need to change the term they want to apply, or if they change their mind about which program they are interested in.) Please request this form from Jennifer Larson at jlarson@cop.ufl.edu. Include in your request a fax number the form can be sent to. Please send the form to Jennifer Larson.
